We’ve come out of the pandemic in a strong position to grow, and we’ve made investments on the farm to help us along – new lines to wash potatoes, and new equipment to make our factory more efficient. These delicious sweet chilli flavoured potato crisps have been homegrown and handcooked on Fairfields Farm so you can enjoy every crunchy bite with a sweet but fiery chilli flavour that we all love! When we took on the farm in 2006, we were determined to leave it in better condition than we found it for future generations.
Throughout a tough period for everyone, we’ve been so pleased to see our sales grow and we put a lot of that down to the personal touch. Produced from crisping potatoes which are grown, harvested, and handcooked at our family farm in Essex, then delivered to your from door. We harvest twelve different potato varieties, maize and rye on beautiful farmland across the Colne Valley just north of Colchester in Essex. The Chevallier family use English apples like Cox and Bramley, which give their Cyder vinegar and our crisps their unique and delicious taste.Of course, we’re always looking at ways to reduce the impact of things like our packaging, too, with some really exciting changes in the pipeline. Potatoes, Oil (Sunflower or Rapeseed Oil in varying proportions), Cyder Vinegar Powder, Sea Salt, Maltodextrin, Rice Flour, Citric Acid, Yeast Extract Powder. We’ve always worked really closely with the East of England Co-op, and this year has been no exception. We also grow our own special varieties of crisping potatoes which are hand cooked on the farm to the highest possible standards which is why we’re BRC (Grade AA) accredited.
