About this deal

It’s about memories, traces of things and people that were, urban sub texts and long gone landscapes and the life that inhibited these places. Not being happy with your place in life, being an outsider in school (and so forth) pushed me further towards art and music and alternative forms of expression as well as venturing off to imaginary worlds that often felt more welcoming than the real world. Renowned for Sound claims that The Wombats "don't step wrong once, with every song having a particular merit to it that makes it worth repeating again and again. Well, in a way it’s both a sequel to my previous album, ‘Cancerboy‘, and since I also conceptually wanted to do something that’s relevant for Notown, I also looked at Gold Pandas last album and took some of the notions of ‘Half Of Where You Live’ to take them a step further and to knit my own stories into the fabric. Jarman’s vibrant photography combined with dynamic cutting reveals glimpses into his picaresque life, from London streets to Spanish countryside—with visions of dances, performances, intimate moments and quiet observations. Dust is a striking achievement, a step forward from a producer who is growing and gaining in strength.

Despite the initial geographic displacement of the trio, subsequent sessions at Mark Crew’s London studio demonstrated that The Wombats’ inter-band dynamics are as strong as ever before.

The Wombats follow their Top 5 album ‘This Modern Glitch’ with the release of their third full-length ‘Glitterbug’ via 14th Floor Records / Warner Bros. In 1984 the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London held a retrospective of Jarman’s paintings and in the same year he made a short film inspired by a trip to the Soviet Union entitled IMAGINING OCTOBER. To mocno abstrakcyjna elektronika, daleka jednak zarówno od IDM-u, jak i industrialnych eksperymentów.There are over 70 shades of glitter wall covering to choose from so you're sure to find the correct shade to suit any theme. Consequently striking up a firm friendship together, while Gold Panda lived in Berlin – where Rohmann still resides – Dust has since come out in the UK on the producer’s NOTOWN Records. The slo-mo techno of Glitterbug is the aural equivalent of a long, hot electronic bath after a very hard day.
